for some reason i just couldn't stand to watch it, too stuffy and overwrought in that authoritarian (british?) sort of way. i switched to simpsons re-run instead . . .
I watched the first show about Van Gogh. After the overly dramatic scene where an actor, playing Van Gogh, eats a tube of yellow paint, I turned it off. Forget this overexcited drama and instead rent Vincent and Theo starring Tim Roth.
